Our Sourdough pizzas are made using locally produced Organic Shipton Mill flour. This Sourdough process we use, means that there is no yeast added to the bread, giving the pizzas a great bite. We are sure you will find them as addictive and delicious as we have. Find out more about sourdough click here

Cooking the pizza

It all began when I found out about rocket stoves, a very simple way of burning waste wood efficently to get maximum heat gain.

A rocket stove achieves efficient combustion of the fuel at a high temperature by ensuring that there is a good air draft into the fire, controlled use of fuel, complete combustion of volatiles, and efficient use of the resultant heat.

Place an oven on top of the rocket and you have a highly energy efficent oven with a fire bricks inside that cook pizza dough really well.

It then seemed placing the oven and rocket inside a vauxhaul nova shell and on a trailer would enable me to bring the wood fired sourdough experience to your event.

Meet the oven.
